John William Dalton, a native Houstonian, has been a creative leader throughout his four decade career in the financial and real estate industries.

His unique success began in 1965 when he launched his career with Raucher Pierce Refnes in Houston. With the company for 38 years, from October 4, 1965 though May 2004, John enjoyed many opportunities for service. He served as Director of the Cleveland Bank and Trust (1976-1980) and on the Executive Committee of Theatre Under the Stars (1980-1982). In 1982 John was appointed by the Governor of the State of Texas to serve on the Texas Motor Vehicle Committee. He served on the committee until 1986, and then as Chairman in 1987.

In May 2004, John left Raucher Pierce Refnes to found his own firm, Domaine Capital. Specializing in securities and real estate, Domaine Capital, under John’s leadership, is poised to take advantage of key opportunities in the markets it serves.

John and his wife, Mary Ann Gleason Dalton, were married on August 21, 1965. Making their home in Houston, they have two children, John, Jr., who lives in Chicago, Illinois and Cheryl Dalton living in Los Angeles, California.
