Located in the Sam Houston National Forest, halfway between Conroe and Cleveland, Texas, is our wonderful property blessed with abundant forested and open range lands. Envisioning this secluded agreage as a unique opportunity for quail hunting and a sporting clays course, we have developed a property greatly suited to these activities, as well as the relaxation that only being in nature can provide.

This is Quail Country!! Nearly 800 acres of forested and open range land designed and managed to provide a natural wildlife habitat.

Our lodge at Country Wood Retreat will be spacious and welcoming, ensuring a fantastic weekend of sport shooting, or a welcome respite from the bustle of the city.
